REGULATORY AMENDMENTS WITH A FOCUS ON QUALITY AND COMPLIANCE

For a growing market, it is necessary to keep the quality level of products and services high, through appropriate regulations and certifications, to guarantee professional responsibility and optimal performance

Special attention is being paid in Europe to the reduction of the impact of buildings on the environment, with specific decarbonisation targets, specifically to reach a 55% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

Therefore, within this evolving framework continuous updating of the lift industry regulations, an integral part of the construction market, is necessary to maintain high quality standards to meet sustainability, innovation and safety goals.

The two meetings offered by GEE on this topic will be a unique chance to understand the challenges and opportunities that the current regulatory framework offers the building industry and the horizontal and vertical mobility chain.

On the opening day, Wednesday 15 November, the debate will begin with a meeting dedicated to “the impact of the European and Italian regulatory framework on the supply chain” - the focus of the entire programme - and will then end on 17 November with a final meeting on “Certification and the new quality standards as a guarantee of safety and efficiency”, a final event to summarize the sector's objectives in the name of quality and compliance.
